Sister's Suppers Workshop - Sense

Sense
Sunday 28th January 4pm-5.30pm

An exploration of our senses (sight, smell, taste and touch) through an ancient, meditative and grounding process of organoleptic herbal tasting.

Introducing a series of workshops designed specifically to support the health and wellbeing of women of African descent.

Within the UK and the diaspora, women of African descent experience disproportionate rates of obesity, cardiovascular disease, fibroids and breast cancer, as well as an increased risk of mental illness.

Historically the African female body has been desexualized, over sexualized, subjected to the status of mammy or jezebel, leaving many women confused about their sexuality, femininity and identity.

The Sister’s Suppers will include a range of workshops to address some of these issues, provide support and uplift us. The evenings will end with delicious vegan food from All Nations Vegan House.
