SOUND HEALING
Sound Healing is the application of sound through the voice and instruments to balance mind, body and spirit. Sound healing is the ability of sound to heal elements of ourselves that are in imbalance. In a therapeutic setting, a practitioner works with a client to address physical and emotional issues and helps to facilitate healing.
Sound healing stimulates the body’s natural healing mechanisms. It may relieve headaches, menstrual pains, back pain and other ailments.
A sound bath is a therapeutic and meditative experience that involves immersing oneself in ambient sounds and vibrations produced by various instruments such as the voice, singing bowls, tuning forks, etc. Participants typically lie down or sit comfortably while the resonant frequencies of these instruments create a calming and immersive sonic environment, promoting relaxation, stress reduction, and a heightened sense of well-being. The practice is often used for meditation, energy healing, and promoting a sense of harmony between mind, body, and spirit. A sound bath typically involves more than 2 people.

What is the philosophy behind sound healing?
Sound healing dates back to prehistoric times. In ancient mystery schools of Kemet, Greece and India. The body is made up of energy vibrating at different frequencies. Illness is caused by disharmony within the body, mind and emotions. Sound healing helps to bring the body, mind and emotions back into harmony with the soul or spirit.
What happens during a private sound healing session?
The session begins with a brief discussion to explore the reasons for you exploring sound healing and to find out if there any significant factors to be aware of. During a session, you can lie down on a treatment couch or be seated. The practitioner will use their voice and may use other instruments during the session.

Client Testimonials
From the Restorative Yoga and Sound Bath Session with Sheena Trotman:
The choice of restorative yoga proved to be a brilliant one, catering to both beginners and seasoned practitioners alike. The gentle nature of the practice made it accessible for even the most novice yogis, allowing everyone in the room to fully engage in the restorative process.
The energy in the room was palpable, radiating a sense of warmth and calm that immediately put everyone at ease. Sheena and Louise's guidance throughout the session was exceptional, skillfully leading us through the practice and enabling a deep immersion into a state of relaxation for both the mind and body.
What truly set this experience apart was the genuine kindness and hospitality of Sheena and Louise. Despite my friend and I running behind schedule, they welcomed us with open arms and had seamlessly prepared our mats, bolster, and towels, ensuring that we could join the class without any disruptions.
To top it off, the post-session treats were a delightful surprise. Inviting us to enjoy a cup of tea and providing individual containers of fresh fruit added a special touch that demonstrated their commitment to creating a holistic and nurturing experience. Overall, the experience was nothing short of exceptional.
Their expertise, warm energy, and thoughtful gestures make them deserving of a perfect 10/10 rating. If it were possible to rate them even higher, I would gladly do so.
