What is a Soundscape?
A soundscape is a harmonious blend of soothing sounds designed to create an immersive auditory experience that nurtures relaxation and inner balance. In a Sound Bath, the soundscape is carefully curated using instruments such as singing bowls, chimes, and drums alongside natural tones like flowing water or soft winds. These layered sounds work together to wash over the listener, guiding them into a meditative state, promoting deep healing, and restoring harmony to the mind, body, and spirit.
About the Bridgetown International Arts Festival
The Bridgetown International Arts Festival is a celebration of performing and visual arts featuring artists from all over the world. It takes place in Barbados annually in March. Since it was established in 2020, applications have been received from Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, St. Lucia, Grenada, Jamaica, Dominica, St. Vincent, New York, South Africa, Sierra Leone, Senegal, Cameroon, Australia, Swaziland, Sweden, Tanzania. Switzerland, Zimbabwe and Germany.
