Good Vegan

The recent rise in people adopting a vegan diet and lifestyle is great but it also comes with a lot of pressure for many people to be a "good" vegan.

It is quite easy to have a vegan diet and not eat one fruit or vegetable because there is a growing number of processed alternatives on the market. People may then become malnourished, fatigued and possibly worse off than when they were eating animal products.

As a practitioner (who has a vegan diet), I do not force a vegan diet on my patients. I will suggest it in cases where it is clear that certain foods are triggering a condition or making it worse.

My aim is to help them find a healthy BALANCE that works for them and I would recommend that for everyone thinking about having a more plant-based diet.
